Review: No Mess Painting with Kwik Stix

Your kids are probably like mine in that they LOVE to paint and make a giant mess!   We’ll do watercolors sometimes, but I’ve been scared to introduce anything darker (or more permanent).   The Pencil Grip, Inc. offered us the chance to review their Kwik Stix 12 pk and kindly sent us a 12 pack!  They also sent a bonus pencil grip called The Single Grip that Sweetheart played with.   The Pencil Grip, Inc. is well known for their pencil grips that are helpful for any little ones, but particularly special needs children or those with delayed fine motor skills.

My little ones LOVE the Kwik Stix and so do I!   They are easy for little hands to hold, and both my Sweetheart and my Toddler Tornado have a blast making art.   I find art pages scattered all over, filled with painting from Kwik Stix.   The lids are easy to put back on, and even my littlest can manage to get the lids back on.   I only wish that were true for markers!   Our house seems to be a marker graveyard…

The best thing about these art sticks?  They are literally dry in 90 seconds!!    The colors are bright and fun, and there are endless ideas for application!   We played mostly with paper, but The Pencil Grip, Inc. shared an idea for Mother’s Day where they painted on balloons!  How cool is that?  I think it turned out really fun!

Super fun, simple, and clean!   That’s my idea of a great craft. 🙂  The Kwik Stix also come in neon and metallix colors, for even more fun!
