A Busy Homeschool Mom’s Guide to Daylight Review
Motherhood is busy. There’s no doubt about it. Heidi St. John, in her book A Busy Homeschool Mom’s Guide to Daylight by Real Life Press, extends a lifeline to harried homeschool moms who are trying, every day, to give their kids a solid education that will prepare them well for life outside the nest, and do all the other things that moms do like cleaning, laundry, making dinner, and, let’s not forget, being a wife and a friend. This tidy volume is just the right length. It’s not so brief that it leaves out important aspects of life & homeschooling, but it’s not so long that a busy mom can’t find…

How to make Colloidal Silver
Colloidal Silver is another one of my favorite natural remedies. It’s a staple in our home and is also SUPER simple to make! Setting up a batch takes only a couple of minutes, and it’s much cheaper than buying it from the store! I made a quick video to show you just how easy it is: This is the colloidal silver generator we bought from Amazon: Life Force Colloidal Silver Generator Hope this was helpful for you! Pin It

Help Fund an Orphanage in Sierra Leone!
My friend Lindsay and her husband, Kevin, started a children’s clothing line last summer called Wazziwoo. This month, they are doing something special to help orphans in Sierra Leone. Wazziwoo is excited to announce a beautiful partnership with our dear friends at Touch the Nations! For the month of April, 10% of all proceeds will go towards their newest initiative to build an orphanage for Ebola orphans in Sierra Leone. We, at Wazziwoo, have BIG hearts for the littles of this world, especially those without an earthly mom and dad. So we are honored to play a small role in providing a home and family for these sweet ones…

Leadership Tidbits: Are you a Leader?
Leadership is one of my favorite topics, and one I’ve been studying at least 15 years now. I’m passionate about this subject, because WHO we are as a person and HOW we lead literally affects everything around us. Over the last while, I’ve been pulling together thoughts to share, and I’ll do my best to do so in bite-sized pieces. 🙂 First tidbit: You are a leader. Periodically, I run into people who insist they are not leaders. They don’t have the title of a leader, bestowed to them by someone, so therefore they’re not a leader. I beg to differ. Are you married? Do you have kids? Do you…

Advanced Allergy Therapeutics Visits 5 – 7
We’ve slowed down our visits to once a week, to help with the cost. We could space them out even more (you can do whatever frequency you’d like), but we’re moving cities in a few months, so we want to get as much done as possible! Over the last few visits, Dr. Hassam finished “trees”, and also tackled sugars and corn. After his second visit for trees, and the one for sugars, he felt pretty bad during the afternoon. He had a headache and laid down for a nap. Dr. Hassam said his body was likely adjusting – those allergens are big ones! He didn’t have any trouble after corn.…

Advanced Allergy Therapeutics – Visits 2 – 4
I promised an update after a few Advanced Allergy Therapeutics visits and here it is! If you missed the first post where I introduce AAT and the journey we are embarking on, check it out here: Advanced Allergy Therapeutics – Day 1. Since my first post, Hubby has had 2 more visits. At visit #2, Dr. Hassam tested him to see if he was holding the histamine treatment she’d done the week before. She put the cuff around his arm, and stressed tested him for the histamines. He didn’t react this time!! So, they decided to address dust next. She sent the dust signal into…

Advanced Allergy Therapeutics – Day 1
Allergies can be a BEAR. Who’s with me? My husband has struggled with them for years. We’ve definitely seen improvement in his symptoms over the last few years, but we haven’t had sustained breakthrough. He’s off the OTC allergy meds, except for a couple times a year. He’s been using essential oils like Young Living lavender, peppermint, and lemon, and that helps a LOT. He also did a colon cleanse, and did better while we were living in Kansas City. Moving south set him off again though. We’re considering moving farther south, near the national forest and my family, but that REALLY sets off his allergies.…
