It’s THSC Convention Time!
Two more days till convention time!!! The Texas Homeschool Coalition, leading advocates for homeschoolers in Texas, host two yearly conventions in Texas. It kicks off this Thursday in the Woodlands.
I’m super excited for the exhibit hall, with booth after booth of some of my favorite vendors including Apologia, Veritas Press, Rainbow Resources, the Institute for Excellence in Writing, and LOTS more! I’ve been working on my list so I know what I’m looking for when I get there, and I’m less likely to get side tracked by all the bright, shiny curriculum options.
THSC has a full list of workshop options, including lots of topics for parents educating special needs kids. They also have fun nights like Encouragement by Chocolate with Sarah Mackenzie and Hank’s Family in Concert with John Erickson. Other presenters include Andrew Pudewa from The Institute for Excellence in Writing (one of my favorite speakers!), Classical Conversations, Apologia, and much more! You can see the workshop list here –> THSC Workshop List
Last but def not least, THSC has a kids’ camp! Super D and Sweetheart went last year, and they LOVED it! This year, all 3 of my kids are going, and they can’t wait! (Well, Super D and Sweetheart can’t wait). My little man isn’t so sure yet lol.
Thursday night is free admission! You can get your tickets at the THSC site: THSC Convention Registration
