Young Living Starter Kit Oils & What To Do With Them
Essential oils have many wonderful uses! I am continually amazed at how powerful they are, and how many things I can use them for!

Young Living offers a wonderful starter kit filled with 11 fabulous oils. Let’s take a quick tour and meet them!
Oil #1: Lavender!
In Aromatherapy, lavender can be used topically:
* to help relieve joint or muscle pain associated with sprains, strains & rheumatoid arthritis
* or inhaled can act as a nervine and calmative which enhances relaxation
* or inhaled to reduce the symptoms of cold & cough
* when experiencing digestive discomfort can act as a carminative and antispasmodic
to help relieve headache
Oil #2: Peppermint!
In Aromatherapy, peppermint can be used topically:

Oil #3: Lemon!
In Aromatherapy, lemon can be used topically or inhaled to reduce the symptoms of cold & cough. I also love it for cleaning and removing sticky residue!
Oil #4: Thieves!
Thieves® essential oil is a powerful combination of Clove, Lemon, Cinnamon, Eucalyptus Radiata, and Rosemary essential oils for an aromatic blend that fills any space with a rich, spicy aroma. Inspired by the legend of four 15th-century French thieves who formulated a special aromatic combination composed of clove, rosemary, and other botanicals, Thieves is one of Young Living’s most popular products.
With the benefits of Thieves oil including cleaning power and an irresistibly spicy scent, Young Living offers it as an essential oil blend and as an important ingredient in a full range of home cleaning and personal care products, from dish soap to toothpaste. Oil #6: Digize!
DiGize™ is a blend of pure tarragon, ginger, pepppermint, and other essential oils that may bring about calming feelings.

Oil #7: Copaiba
Distilled from gum resin that is wild harvested from Brazilian copaiba, copaiba contains the highest amounts of beta caryophyllene (55 percent) of any known essential oil. (Hint: do a google search for beta caryophyllene. I’ll wait right here.)
Oil #8: Frankincense!
The ancient Egyptians used the oil found in the wild-crafted resin of Boswellia carteri trees in Kenya to promote younger, fresher looking skin. Frankincense is also known for its sweet, warm, balsamic aroma with calming properties that can increase spirituality and inner strength.
Oil #9: RC!
R.C.™ is an invigorating blend of cypress, spruce, and three varieties of eucalyptus that is comforting when applied to the chest and throat.
In Aromatherapy, RC can be used topically or inhaled to help relieve colds and coughs
Oil #10: Panaway!
PanAway® contains wintergreen and clove essential oils. These oils or their active components are widely used in massage after physical activity to relieve muscles.
Oil #11: Northern Lights Black Spruce
Northern Lights Black Spruce essential oil comes from Young Living’s new Northern Lights farm in British Columbia, Canada. Diffuse this rich, woodsy, and invigorating scent during meditation to create a fresh aromatic atmosphere. Add it to skin care products or apply topically to help improve the appearance of dry skin or to help maintain the appearance of healthy-looking skin. Northern Lights Black Spruce can also be applied anywhere, including to the bottoms of feet, along the spine, back of neck, or used for massage. This oil includes the naturally occurring constituents alpha-pinene, camphene, and beta-pinene and is an important ingredient in many products, including Valor II™, Peace & Calming II™, Light the Fire™, and Shutran™ essential oil blends.
